Kodak Shutter Cleaning

I have a Kodak Stereo stripped down as far as the shutter assembly
for shutter cleaning (my first attempt at a Kodak).

The rear lens elements appear to be held in by the usual threaded
retaing ring. However, there seems to be no way the get hold of
the ring to turn it. There isn't the usual slot to engage a ring
removal tool.

Can anyone here, who has experience of cleaning Kodak Stereo
shutters offer any advice?
