Bill wonders about who has the lowest Realist serial number on this 50th
anniversary.

Well this is a poll I can participate in, since I don't have one of those
other expensive 3-D cameras. I went and checked my 2 Realists which were
way higher in number. A8314 and A73503. Incidentally the A73503 is in
way worse shape than the ealier A8314. But I do have another third
Realist camera, which I am sure is much lower in number and possibly
around A1016 but I can't check it, since my wife just left with it, on
vacation to Greece today. Now this should be interesting, since she just
has a rudimentary knowledge about cameras and I gave her a 15 minute 
lesson. She will be coming back in 6 weeks, so will report back her
success with the famous Realist, that Dr.T always says can be treated as
a P&S. I am not debating this, but just using a lay person as a test case.

BTW, this camera was sold to me by Dr.T and I told her, if you have any
problems just ask Dr.T since he MIGHT be passing by in her local. Now I 
wonder if he makes house calls, since he is/will be on vacation in Greece
also.
