Re Backlighting Lenticulars
Gabriel Jacob wrote about backlighting lenticulars , in about the mid 60's
my father gave me a large lenticular of an eagle which was originaly one of
his samples from the business gifts company that he was a salesman for .
Some while later one of his customers showed him an example that he had
removed the paper backing from so as to backlight it. When my father told
me about this I decided to try it with my own by soaking it and peeling the
back off . This worked quite well the image itself was very stable and was
not removed with the paper ( when I tried this with a Nimslo lenticular
years later the whole lot came away image as well). I never managed to get
the paper off evenly however so to this day it appears a bit blotchy if
backlit although the effect is still good. P.J.Homer
