They had a couple of prints on display at the trade show during the NSA
convention a couple weeks ago. I made a special point of checking them
out. They were G-O-O-D! High resolution, full color vectorgraphs. If
you looked REALLY closely, you could detect that they'd been printed on
a computer, but it wasn't immediatly apparent to me. I was seriously
enthused by seeing those! The vectograph idea was always a cool one,
but the traditional ones had to be made in a really fussy process where
the left and right images were laid down seperatly, this required a
complicated pin registration system. For a COLOR vectorgraph, it would
require >SIX< seperate passes through this hand process.

What I've always dreamed of was the ability to make vectograph
transparancies sharp enough to put into a 35mm slide mount (you could
make stereo slides that were "pre-mounted" and didn't require special
projectors. Do it on movie film, and you've got the ideal 3D movie
format. No dual projectors, no sync problems, no pseudo images, just
film and glasses) The images aren't quite THAT sharp yet, but it's only
a matter of time isn't it?
