3D with the Electron Microscope

Recieved this message from fellow list-member, Colin Moyer, who is away in
France right now.  Perhaps someone can help:

        A friend of mine is going to Israel to look at what is purported to
be the world's oldest figurine.  She will be using a scaning electron
microscope to analyze it.  I was wondering if you knew of anyone who might
know the techniques to do stereo photos with one. Could you perhaps post it
on the 3D list for me (I unsubscribed during my travels)?  Does the 1/30th
rule still basically apply?  My friend seems really keen on using stereo
photos for this project.
