Paul,

    Did you happen to check to see what kind of shape the cameras were 
in?  

    I went to three camera shows this spring, saw 19 Realist 3.5s and 
Kodaks, often priced like the ones you mention.  I looked at them 
carefully and _only one_ was in working order -- a $225 Kodak.  Most of 
the rest had major problems:  shutter stuck open, broken pawls, missing 
parts, broken range finder, etc.  Often the crooked dealer would take me 
for a fish, tell me about "3D" photography and how this camera was a 
great buy, working fine.  Then not say a word when I looked it over and 
found a stuck shutter, etc.  Jerks.
