Re: Interocular&focus necessary?

Thanks Greg W and John B for the helpful replies. Based on what y'all say I
imagine that my eyes will be able to do True-Vue viewing. Very interesting
about

Neither of my eyes are very bad, but it helps to wear glasses even with the
focusing Wollensak because the eyes are different from each other.

The filmstrips going to get and try are black and white, so hopefully the
fact that they're not color will mean they aren't faded. Can't hurt much to
try the stuff, I guess.

Helpful to have found all the available database here at the bobcat institute
<g>. Fer instance, read in an archive that unmounted rolls are returned in
wound inside long white strips of paper. Right after buying a Realist 3.5
from a private party, I shot 5 rolls, 2 rolls were returned marked "ruined"
on the box. Another 3 rolls in same photoshop processing mailer were returned
mounted in good shape. The photoshop guy told me the camera was screwing up
intermitantly. Thinking the Realist 3.5 was unreliable I went back to my
trusty Realist45; all it's rolls (dozens) have always come back mounted in
fine shape and nice quality down thru the years.

Anyway, remembering that the "ruined" Realist 3.5 rolls were indeed wound in
white paper, went just now to examine the filmstrip and sure enough both of
the "ruined" rolls looked fine, just unmounted. Date on box was 1980!

:) Still have that particular long unused Realist 3.5 and maybe it's a good
piece of hardware after all, not entirely sure at this point.

:( OTOH, don't that beat all!

Read 'nother place in the old archives someone reporting that Realist45
doesn't have depth of field markings. But the example I have does, right on
top around the horizontal focus knob, where is handy to see.
