Bob Aldridge recently described his Nightingale Mounting Jig.

It is clearly different in many respects from mine, which does not,
for instance, slope. The natty lensboard arrangement is the same. 
I would guess that Bobs' is an earlier design than mine - not
that mine is an improvement - probably the opposite. I think that 
mine would be easier and cheaper to construct.

My jig has one major disadvantage - it fries slides. The film curls, 
and I gave up using it with cardboard or foil mounts (even when it 
was illuminated for the minimum time). I have used it successfully 
with plastic mounts though.
