One person's video may be another person's still images. JPS files hold
still stereo images in digital form. A JPS file is actually a standard
JPEG file in which some reserved space in the file header is used to
describe the file as a stereo image pair. This approach is either
clever, or foolish, (or a little of both) depending on your perspective
on a large cluster of related issues.

To get a first hand description of the capabilities of JPS, e-mail
	jon siragusa <siragusa@xxxxxxxxx>
and ask him for a copy of the "General Purpose Stereoscopic Data
Descriptor" (sterdesc.doc). I would offer to re-distribute copies,
however, the document is copyrighted exclusively to VRex.
