Project Or View

I just found a TDC Project Or View at a camera show. Got it cheap as it was 
missing the changer! Problem is, the images were very faint. When I went to 
check what the wattage on the bulbs was I managed to ruin the bulbs (at least 
I now know how to remove them!) I understand that I can buy replacements at 
Home Depot, but my question is: can I use a higher wattage bulb? Or maybe 
halogen? Anyone have any experience with the Project or View? Any help would 
be appreciated.
