Nims & Lo patents

Some years ago I had a serious reason to look up the patents
the Nimslo camera was based on. Turns out there was a group
of unemployed engineers who got together to try to do something
useful (or maybe just profitable) in the virtual reality field.
We decided that virtual reality in 3-D is more real looking
than in 2-D, so we looked into putting lenticular screens in
front of computer monitors.

We proved that it would work, but we didn't have the financial
resources to build the hardware for a prototype, and then the
economy improved and we all got jobs in our regular fields.

Anyway, a few days ago I found three patents, so decided to post
enough information that interested photo-3D-ers could get their
own copies of the patents. Costs $3.00 per patent from the US
Patent Office, if one has the number. Write to U.S. Patents and
Trademarks Office; Washington, DC 20231; with a check.

The two dates are date of filing and date patent was granted.
