First 3D pics back...

Well, I finally got around to taking a chance and getting one
of my two rolls from San Francisco processed and printed
despite concerns of overexposure. As it turns out, all of the
prints on my second, unfinished 24 exp. roll were at least
printable. That was just a test to see if they were. I've since
sent the first, 36 exp., roll. I have put the two best pictures,
IMHO, out of the nine views printed on the net in lrl form. The
url is:
users.apexinc.com/~adam/3d.html

The first picture is of the cellblock at Alcatraz, and the second
is a friend with his guitar (the guitar's neck is penetrating the
stereo window).

I know there is much left to be desired such as the need for
improved color/contrast balance, greater depth of field so that
all is in focus, and I'm sure the list goes on. For finding out
after the fact that I did quite a few things wrong, I'm quite
pleasantly surprised by how some of them turned out. I am
much more eager to get back the first roll which had much
more stunning and interesting subject matter in them than
this roll.

In any case, I'd appreciate any feedback or suggestions you
may have that would allow me to take better stereo pictures.

BTW, Dr. T, who did you _drag_ around with you that was so
willing to be patient while you recorded, graphically and audibly,
your visit to Greece? I know that my roommate (who
accompanied me) began to get very impatient each time I
wanted to take some pictures (I had my Pentax SLR, a cheap
instamatic with B&W film in it, and Paul Talbot's borrowed
Realist). I captured many of the same scenes using the
variety of cameras. I did get some REALLY nice flat pics (this
is another reason I'm looking forward to the stereos that are on
their way)...

TIA,

Adam
