overlap of images

With the recent discussion of Dr. T's disaster, I thought I would pass along
what Zak told Andrew about image over-lap.  Zak said that if the
manufacturer of the film has wound the film too tightly around the spool or
that the spool is defective, this will result in an slight (1mm) overlap on
the images.  Obviously, if the camera is the culprit, the problem will be a
reocurring one.
