The most enjoyable reaction to a 3D camera that I have experienced lately
happened in the Rabbit Hash General store about three weeks ago. I
stopped in to buy some ice after taking a few shots of the Historical
Society building. An older tourist asked after the camera and said he
had all the experience he needed in 3d back in the fifties when he was
projectionist at a double-sided drive-in. He told as funny story about
showing House of Wax on two screens when only one set of prints showed
up. It involved rushing the reels around the place by truck.
By far the most widespread reaction I get goes like this;
"Is that one of those 3D cameras?'
"Yes"
"Hunh."
