And those colors will be different on different people's screens.  Even
on my one screen with it's fixed-phosphors, I can change the color
temperature profile between two fixed "temperatures" or mess it up
completely in "custom mode".

So if things were "optimized" for the producer's screen, the color
spectra may be different seen on another's screen.  

Glasses at each end may not match the other end -- or that person's
monitor spectra.

P.S. - Also,  depending upon "things" a web browser may be resizing
       the images on one's screen, and the result will depend upon
       how well it can do it on a pixel-by-pixel level.
