Very true.

I have a nice stereo of fireworks shot with a 6 feet bar.  Not much
depth but looks good in a viewer and won awards in Detroit judged in 
projection.  I have seen some flower tabletops accepted in PSA competitions
that I swear were not just almost totally flat but even reversed!  For me,
stereo impact through sufficient on-film deviation is not at the top of
qualities in a stereo image... -- George Themelis
