Kodak will co-brand 300-500 stores - NYT

NEW YORK, Aug 15 (Reuter) - Eastman Kodak will put its name on between
300 and 500 photo specialty stores across the U.S. within the next 18
months, the New York Times reported. 

Under the plan, Kodak will give retailers discounts on fixtures, will
offer price promotions and will provide purchase displays, marketing
advice and staff training, the paper said. 

In return, retailers will stock a full line of Kodak cameras and film
and install machines that allow people to custom-create their own
pictures, the paper added. 

Kodak's move comes amid stiff competition from Fuji Photo Film (4901.T),
the paper said. This year, Fuji has eroded Kodak's share of the film
market, according to the paper.
