Speaking of which, if anybody knows of a way to prevent Windows 95 and the
major Microsoft Windows 95 applications (Office, Project, etc.) from summarily 
capitalizing filenames (or in some cases just the extensions), or some way to 
convert filenames from uppercase to lowercase without manually renaming each
file, I would really appreciate it if they would contact me *offline*. (The only
relevance to 3D is that I may finally get a chance to scan some of my 3D
photographs in the next month or two, and it sure is a nuisance handling
the mangled capitalizations after transfer to a Unix environment. I could
handle the scans much more efficiently if this problem can be eliminated.)

If anyone knows of a forum where these issues are discussed, or an FAQ, I
would appreciate hearing about it as well.
