July 1997 I spent a great week with Phyllis Maslin and Simon
Bell....touring the rugged beaches and lush rainforests of the
Washington Penninsula.

One day in the Hoh rainforest....Simon...using an RBTX3, Phyllis-using
and RBTX2, and I - using the RBTX4...were all in one place where a lot
of people were walking by. Of course....many people would stop and ask
about the cameras...but one amusing comment was the cool and confident
response, of a man, to his overly curious wife about.."those strange
looking cameras".....his answer back to her was..."Oh those are 3D
cameras....its easy, the same as regular photography....I'll show youu
when we get home"

Phyllis, Simon and I held our breath and then laughed hard when they
were out of range!

Later the next week....Phyllis and I were in downtown Seattle...with X3
and X4 in hand....when a women, possibly a model...very fashionable,
walked by and upon seeing our cameras stared with wonder, and said to
her male companion excitedly..."what are those?".....her male
friend...trying not to act too excited for possible fear of appearing
overly impressed....said..without batting an eyelash...."Oh those are
binocular cameras... made by taking a pair of binoculars and putting
them on a cameras body"...

Nice try! Thats all for now...I am off to buy a Realist with a
automatic-stereo LED Chumsuk levelling (custom desingned by accident one
New Years eve by Dr.T!) That ought to turn a few heads! Regar-d-d-d-s
