It is gratifying to welcome The New York Stereoscopic Society to the
ranks of our nation's stereo photography clubs.  Indeed, there is a
distinct possibility that the Rabbit Hash, Kentucky 3D Photography Club
may send an emissary to the September meeting (our chaplain frequently
pursues his devotions in NYC).  As more and more such clubs are formed we
bring more and more interested people together in the name of
stereoscopic photography.  Progress and a general improvement of our art
is inevitable.  And personal congratulations to Greg Dinkins.

While the RHDDDPC might produce the odd bear and canoes are a dime a
dozen, the closest thing we have to a hall of molluscs is the historical
society.  We do have some zebra mussels.
And, while it is not an RHDDDPC function, our town's colorful "Old
Timer's Day" celebration is .  This is a covered dish social to honor our
elders.  Bring a dish and your pork chops will be provided by the town. 
There will be games and live music form the Rabbit Hash String Band in
the afternoon and, in the evening from Steel Rain (or whatever Donny
Clare is calling his soft rock band these days).
The Director General, the associate DG, the whole Hotchkiss contingent
and most of the membership will be there at one time or another, look for
the 3D cameras.  There is the possibility that Buddy (Burt) Rich will
make an appearance if his arthritis allows.  Come one come all.
