3d Wizard second roll

The second roll of film from this camera came back in 24 days. There were 15
prints and a check for 75 cents credit since it was one short of the prepaid
amount.
However, the first set of exposures on the film they ruined with a label and
a staple. From the numbers on the edge it is sufficiently far into the film
that they should have had plenty of trailer to attach whatever they needed.
So maybe they trim off the leader material before attaching anything? In any
case, expect your first exposure on any roll to get ruined in their
processing. :-(
More problems with flash and exposure, this time on some roses. The flash
causes an overexposure washing out details. It seems you need to use a small
aperture with flash. Of course with two persons using the camera it's
impossible now to tell which aperture was used for each shot. We didn't keep
a record. I expect to fix some of the exposure problems with scanned prints.
The people shots in this roll didn't overexpose.
The best startling 3D is present when there is a deep background and/or a
bit of foreground objects. Outdoors use distant objects for background and
grass or a branch for foreground. Indoors, stay away from walls, place
subjects well in front of windows (daytime), or use room corners or
furnishings at night. Don't have people stand next to each other
perpendicular to the camera. It's best for them to be standing at different
distances from the camera.
Flat surfaces like tables or the ground does not make a good foreground
because it doesn't seem to project forward well in the viewed results. The
best foregrounds I've caught have been grass shoots that I may not have even
been aware of in some cases.
Overall, I'm still happy with the results.
