I went up to Wal Mart last night to take a look at the Plano 1233. It
was a bit bulky for me, but I really liked the #3700 boxes. Thy were
priced at 4.89 each on the wall but rang up at 3.97. With the addition
of some catalog cards they are the best store bought thing I have found
for Realist format slides. I didn't sniff them, my nose is a little out
of commission right now, so I can't say if they smell archival, but they
are probably just as archival as I am.
With the boxes you get a label that identifies their purpose, in French,
as a system for the arrangement of articles of fish.
