Ok then,To bring 3-D mainstream we'll go with slide pairs, a variety of
images and a canned sales pitch. Believe me, its not easy to recommend
ways to market 3-D, but surely everyone can sympathize with the empty
feeling of watching a true art disappear.............
sure that hurt when "Charlies Angels" was canceled!! If we don't feel
comfortable with selling 3-D direct, we can create a "climate of desire"
with my top 10 campaign program:
1) Camera stores post sign "ten 3-D items or less, this lane only"
2) All other stores post "Sorry, we are currently sold out of all 3-D
products"
3)Toys R Us displays 50 ft inflatable viewmaster on rooftop ( All leaks
repaired by Dr.T)
4) Uma Thurman does "Toys" tour to sign Batman reels. Pam Anderson
attends for moral support ( again, any leaks repaired by Dr.T )
5) "All NON 3-D products marked 50% off"
6)Dallas Cowboy owner Jerry Jones makes public statement " Stereo images
offer no real value to anyone!"
7) President Clinton agrees with statement
8) Circuit City "Buy one get one free " slide projector promotion
w/Batman images FREE!
9) Create warning label for all 3-D products that states: " National
acceptance of this product poses a danger similar to national agreeance
of Germany in late 1930's. Deaths can occur!
10) Letterman sues 3-D groups for illegal use of top ten list!
Now get out there and make it happen!
