35mm Slide Viewer

Hello, I'm a new member of photo-3d list.
I have been a 3-d enthusiast for some time, now.
My principal interest in 3-d photography is to experience 
the grandeur of nature using 35mm slide. However, I have
often been disappointed with the quality of existing viewer.
They are too narrow(viewing angle) for my liking.  I have
constructed my own 35mm slide viewer but without 100% success.
It still gives far more distortions(pin-cushion) and lacks
clarity.  I have recently gone into medium format for this
reson.  Are there any body who have successfully constructed
35mm slide viewer that provides wide angle (at least 120 degree)
as well as clarity and low distortions?
