Scanning slides in Realist Mounts

More on slide scanning...

I just tried scanning a 7-P slide in a glass RBT mount
in my Microtek ScanMaker 35T plus. It works. You do need
to carefully position the slide mount. The scanner is
(of course) designed for standard 2x2 mounts and has
spring clips at the edges. Realist format slides are not
as high as a standard mount is wide and you can only clip
the realist format mount to one side, but it does work.

I still prefer to take out the film and put it in the
film strip carrier. :-)
