Hi!  We are back from a great meeting of the O-HI-O Stereo
Photographic Society, first meeting for the season.

Highlights:  We added two well-known names as members:

1. John Waldsmith, well-known collector of stereo views
   and founder of NSA.

2. Mark Dottle of Pittsburgh, well-known x-TV salesman and
   photo-3d's latest star.  Mark is to be congratulated for
   driving all the way from Pittsburgh for our meeting.
   We enjoyed his slides from his VERY FIRST Realist roll!
   He is a novice with a bright future in stereo!

Program on Applications of Stereo Imaging in Science and
Technology, went fairly well.  "Mock" slide competition
(hey guys, me speak no good English and don't understand
joke) went very well.  First we previewed all slides, then
scored them and finally commented on them.  John Waldsmith
was one of the judges (I was the second, and an experienced
2D photographer the third) and made many good comments.

Our next meeting will feature a program on View-Master 
(Mary Ann and Wolfgang we will be delighted to see you...
you can run the program too!) and our first real stereo
slide competition.  Sounds exciting!

Tomorrow, Jim and I are leaving for St. Charles IL for our
first PSA convention.  Thursday and Friday are the "Stereo
Days".  We'll keep you posted!
