Oh, I wasn't picking on you personally. Sorry if it sounded that
way. ;) I'm simply a very intense person. It comes across in my writing
from time to time.
As for noticing the difference, perhaps I should have stressed
that the degradation is not often noticeable at smaller compression
ratios unless one looks for it... However, I must agree that the noise
that JPEG throws into an image makes for a very poor anaglyph or sird. I
haven't done any experiments with saving an anaglyph image at 0%
compression (about 1:3). I do not know how well the image will fare...

Erm, I'm not sure how to respond to this since you didn't use any
emoticons, but I'll do my best! ;) "Living snot" means, in this case,
that the image is compressed so much that it begins to look pixelated
with large blocks. I've seen some scary stuff on the web. As for my
slang, well, all I can say is that I have often been criticized for
having mixed diction. My loquacious passion is always peppered with
freakin' wild slang. ;) It's a bad habit, but then my entire personality
is riddled with paradoxes. I'm not sure how to turn it off. :/

Hahaha! Well, that'd mean you'd have to get a special VHS tape.
Like the one's at McFrugal's at 12 for a dollar that don't even have the
"VHS" label on them. Then record the show at 6 hour speed and then make
copies from the copies until the colors start to fade! :D Um, how about
we just stick with 2 hour speed on a tape I supply you with at second
generation? ;)
