Wonderful job Alan. Either someone thinks like
me or listens to my blathering about John Public
wanting his one hour 4x6 prints.

A couple of minor points: You do mention about
the prints being labelled. But for the public
to have minimal trouble the prints should be
back printed "LEFT and RIGHT". Don't know if
that's what you meant.

Better yet would be if the paper cutter in
the print machine was modified to spit out
4x12's (like when they print the so called
panoramic prints). Then the print would be
ready for 2d and 3d viewing. (The machine
would have to print the negs out of order.
1 and 3 on one 4x12, then 2 and 4 on the next.)
Might make a big difference in consumer
acceptance.

Plus if the consumer doesn't want to keep
all of the 3d prints they could just cut it
in half and give one image away (just like
double prints). None of us would ever do
that though :)
