Sounds like a good idea. Actually, Kodak has a patent on something similiar,
that I would imagine could be adapted to this idea. The patent consists
of streamlining the assembly of VM reels by replacing the individual chips
by one large wafer film with the individual pictures exposed on it.
The only problem I can see with using a disc type camera (or most any other
camera) would be that it would require transposing. Maybe with computers
and scanning them in, this could be done, but don't know if it could be done
economically.
