Plano Box Alert

I just went down to Wal-Mart to get a couple more Plano 3700 boxes
and was surprised to see that they have replaced them with 3710
boxes. They are the same size and configuration EXCEPT that the lid
now fits over the bottom both outside and inside. They claim this is
an improved seal to help keep the lure odors in and weather out.
Unfortunately this interferes with the slides we like to store.

The store clerk did not know if this was a true replacement or just
another model, all he knew is that the 3710 is what they now carry. I
went up going over to K-Mart, but they were out of all their Plano
boxes, so I ended up at Fred Meyers where they had only two 3700's
left (which I promptly bought).

Anyway, the next time you go to buy a Plano storage box, make sure it
is the 3700 and NOT the 3710.
