New 3D business opportunity -- let's get rick quick!!

A thought just came to me (I'm sure someone else has also
thought of this), but here goes:
With the advent of 3D broadcasting around the corner (see
Eric's post about New Visual Entertainment and STAR's
merger), and Albert at Apec looking to create the THRID
ROUND (don't know what the second was) of 3D popularity
by increasing the use of computer 3D images and viewers,
I am proposing this:
Since Intel and Microsoft (according to Albert) have created
a specification for 3D glasses, thus making them a potentially
cheap and widely available peripheral, and the quality and
price of digital cameras is ever-improving, why don't we all
pool our money to form a company to create the FIRST
STERO DIGITAL CAMERA!!! The entry price for such an
item could be upwards of $1000, and depending on the
manufacturing cost, has the potential for very large profit
margins. I see an immense opportunity for this in the future,
with 3D glasses being a cheap peripheral, partnerships with
companies such as Albert's to offer a package of camera
AND viewer, etc.... Adding infrared technology to digital
cameras is already in the works so that transmission of the
images from camera to pc/mac is done quickly and easily.
The camera can have synched zoom lenses for close-ups
and macros, and can have all the features we all know and
love in our stereo cameras. So what do you say?? If we
form a company and sell stock publicly, maybe we can
raise enough capital to begin R&D and production, and
maybe beat Sony, Sharp, Kodak, and all the rest of them
to this very attractive market. Eventually, of course, the
price would fall (just as 2d digital camera prices are
starting to do) and consumers could purchase it at a very
reasonable cost. This would hopefully have the side effect
of boosting stereo photography's popularity (thus attaining
a THIRD ROUND), but may unfortunately make Realists and
all other traditional stereo cameras a novelty.... We'll be
considered lucky owners of such a device and they may be
highly sought after at that point.... So, there are many ways
we could all benefit from this. So, give up your nest eggs,
life savings, and cash in your savings bonds, and let's get
this going from the bottom up!!!!
Sorry to subject you to my wishful thinking and lunatic
raving, but I think there is definitely something here that
can boost stereo photography beyond comprehension. No
more barriers to consumer acceptance such as worrying
about mounting/viewing problems, 5 things to do before
taking a picture, which film to use and its cost, and the
list goes way on. Imagine spending $500 (about the same
if not less than many of you have spent on a stereo camera)
and never having to spend another penny on mounting
supplies, projection equipment, no lost hours spent preparing
the slides or prints for viewing, no worries about film not
advancing, lost pictures, double exposed pictures, and
again, the list goes on...
I know, I know, it's all in my dreams you say....but we
CAN make this happen, and if we do something about it
BEFORE the big companies do, we have the potential
to win big on the product sales. Any thoughts???
Adam, in 3dreamland...
