|By George, I think you've hit on something here! Perhaps it is a good
|strategy to provide the comparative experience when presenting 3D slides or
|other stereo presentations. Include a few 2D pictures just to illustrate the
|difference. It might create even more *converts* (wish a different word
|could be used, but it fits).
There was a session at the NSA convention where this was done (I forget
whom it was). The subject matter was (this is a bit hazy now) Civil
War views, transferred to slides for projection. Since the program
was given to "non stereo" groups, what he did was to first show
a "flat" image with identical views in both slides, then to do a
"window" view where the flat view is placed behind the stereo window, and
then go to a full stereo slide. He said the reaction from the crowd was
always most gratifying.
Does anyone remember whom that was (it was at the 'hotter than hades'
San Antonio con a number of years ago).
