Gee...I gues my sense of humor (or lack thereof) got me going with Paul
and Gary down in Texas. I was thinking back to my first visit there
back in the late 80's...when we were coming in for a lkanding..and being
amazed at the flatness as far as you could see.
when I got off the plane and was greeted by friends....they asked how
the flight was, and they knew I was in to 3D...so I told them 'great
flight...but I sprained my 3D eye muscles on the landing, looking at all
the flatness out there!" they all laughed(maybe I paid them to laugh!)
Just to clarify...I was not pointing fun a TX...I love it there...spent
a lot of time in Houston shot great neon signs....rode the fabulous
Texas Flyer train....talked with a few TX 3D locals....at Crawdaddy's at
Goode and Co, drank your local beers....went to Galveston and shot
details of the beautiful old architecture there....and rememberd why I
am a carnivore in the first place...great barbecue!

I hope to be back there soon...and I'll visit Gary and Paul....and Rev
Robert...Tom White...and others....as long as I have about two months to
drive all over it and cover all that ground...or a willing private pilot
to get me some great hypers of those mountains!
