As has been discussed previously, the Kodak Premium Processing (Kodalux)
lab in Dallas provides this service. They charge $4.20 in addition to a
prepaid mailer (PK-36) per roll. (Or $12.08 is the amount on the invoice
which is what I presume they charge if you are not using a prepaid
mailer). I have found that they do a generally good job, (at least good
enough for viewer if not projection, with only an occasional poorly
mounted slide). I have not had problems with lost or damaged orders.
(But be sure to mark everything well to reduce the possibility of
"accidentally" having your slides cut and mounted in standard mounts!)
It takes about 4 weeks to get them back, which is quicker than I get
around to mounting if I plan to do it myself. I get my mailers from B&H
or other NYC mailorder places for about $5 each including S&H. -Linda
