***** Very funny. :-) Is it dreaming to actually *do* the very things I'm
talking about? Or do you only see such things in YOUR dreams? They don't
have to stay in your dreams anymore. They are possible in real photo
reality. Maybe it's that fixed base Realist camera? It does indeed have
serious limits despite it's other excellent qualities.... ;-)

***** Yes I dream about it, then go out and realize it with the camera and
a computer. If the process works what's wrong with talking about it? Don't
you dream? They say that dream deprivation is a bad thing for one's health.

***** All in good time. It's sufficient to say that I have done more than
*figure a way* to do many things. I figure and explore using both a camera
and the computer. Yes I often dream, but what you hear about is dreams
realized. When I see the results I seek, they may not be exhibition quality
images, but with sufficient application of time and funds, I know it's
there. I do have a number of things to add to my site, but no time at the
present to carry out that step.

You suggested some things which couldn't be done. I know at least some of
them are doable in 3D. If you would care to donate budgets towards the more
expensive or difficult challenges I'll go out and get them. The easier ones
can be demonstrated more easily and I will get around to showing some of
what I have and going after more. But why should I be the only one having
fun with it? I'm not the greatest photographer around, I just know my way
around 3D reasonably well. The rest is as reachable for you as for me.

It might be fun to compile a challenge list though. I'm certainly not
promising to be able to meet every challenge, but there are many that are
attainable and that's the whole point. A list of 2D things that someone
thinks aren't possible in 3D would be a starting point and I'm sure there
are many creative photographers out there equal to the challenge. Many will
find things I haven't found. That's what's great about challenges.

To start with each suggestion needs to be looked at objectively to determine
if it's even a valid challenge. It helps to have a concrete example of the
2D effect so it's clear what is being challenged. Some effects may only have
application to a working style having little to do with image type. I'm
looking for image oriented effects done in 2D that supposedly don't work in
3D. I have to state up front that there are probably some legimate ones that
fit the category and won't be either desirable or possible in 3D. The goal
isn't about a resolving a debate but to open ones' creative thinking.
