Scanning stereo slides

I see that there are quite a number of "affordable" 35mm film scanners 
available now - from Epson, HP, Canon, Nikon, etc. Most of these take 
2x2 slides or negative strips in a special holder. Does anybody know if 
any of these can be used with 101x44 mounted stereo slides? I have some 
slides in RBT, Albion and card mounts, which I obviously don't want to 
have to unmount for scanning. I only want to scan one of the pair in 
most cases. Has anybody any experience of these scanners with stereo 
slides, please.
