A relatively cheap way to synchronize two cameras that 
are a moderate distance apart is to use two air releases 
connected together to one squeeze bulb using a tee 
fitting.  It is important that the air releases are 
adjusted so that only a short stroke is required, or you 
may run out of air.  Used air releases can often be 
found cheaply at camera swap meets.
