Miida stereo attachment

What can people tell me about the Miida stero attachment?
It looks exactly like the Stitz attachment shown in thew Ferwerda book,
and came with polarizers for projection. Any idea how people attach these
things to non-threaded projection lenses? I'm considering simply epoxying
an adapter ring to the projector lens,  but if anyone has a better idea...
Also any tips on the use of this thing would be appreciated.
