youngsters and chicks

"Getting younger men interested in stereo is a challenge...
They seem to be more interested in fast cars, good-looking women
and sports..."
Let's see, I'm 28 and I've been wielding a Kodak stereo for 10 years or so.
I just bought another one, to go with my '96 Mustang Cobra convertible and a
hot babe on the beach on Cozumel. I have stereo pictures of the hot babe on
the beach, which I will post on my Web page if I can find a scanner. They
prove that the twain shall meet.
I only watch Chicago teams, but the Mustang trunk contains enough sporting
goods for any spontaneous outbreak of athleticism.
The way I see it, all of these interests are highly compatible if you have a
youthful outlook and a zeal for living. 3-D sets you apart; you took
photography further. And I find that it's very effective in impressing
good-looking women as well as dowdy aunts. Most people have never
experienced such amazing realism as they see when looking into a viewer,
just as many people don't experience the force of 300 horsepower launching
them from a stoplight. Most people are a lot more comfortable looking into
the viewer, however. Rarely do they mutter, "We're dead."
The people I'm interested in impressing will look at 3-D slides and be
enthralled by them, then they'll consider what kind of a person cherishes
this archaic camera and keeps the art alive. You, as a 3-D photographer,
can reveal something new to someone. If that someone is really interested
in you, she or he will admire your diversity, and will use the experience to
build a more complete picture of you.
If I saw even a moderately attractive girl using a stereo camera, I would go
out of my way to meet her. I would already know that she ventures beyond
the ordinary. Who knows what she might have to say about music, or romance,
or even Mustangs?
