I, too, have had some recent problems, unlike my previous experience
with Kodalux ("Kodak Premium Processing" that is.). I received 3 rolls
back from them last week which had several mismatched pairs, half a
dozen pseudos, several where one image was reversed resulting in a
mirror image pairing, and two where one image was upside down! New
people working there who have had no training? Or someone is definitely
not paying attention. I assume that the mounting is done pretty much
manually. I called customer service to register a complaint, especially
since I had just mailed more film to them a few days earlier, and I was
hoping they would do something about it before they got to my next batch
of film! The more people that call the better, or better yet ask to talk
to the supervisor of tha lab. (I didn't). The number at Dallas is
800-365-5589.
BTW, In my experience, 3 weeks or so is pretty much par for the course
to get stereo slides back from them, but I don't mind waiting (much) if
the quality is reasonable. It is still quicker than I would get to the
mounting myself. -Linda
