Generalizations re: age gender

It's heartbreaking to accept the fact that my stereo idol, my mentor, my
teacher and advisor
is really Satan's son.........Dr. T! Why couldn't
you support those generalizations of gender, age with scientific data !?
Now, who can I trust?
Here are a few stereotypical comments I heard
from our secretary this week: " All men are pigs"
( refering to Marv Albert) " I don't care what people say, men prefer
big breasts" ( I told her
I'm happy with the size of mine...I like being a man) " Spaghetti is
always better the next day"
( Wonder how many Italians would be offended?) " Men gamble and drink
money away, at least women bring home something to show for the fact
that they spent money"
Well, do I agree or disagree with her? Probably!
The only thing more harmful and insulting than a generalization, are
people who are offended by them! If your name is not attached to a
statement, it may or may NOT pertain to you.
Dr. T was inspiring a conversation...not a debate. I happened to agree
with his observations unfortunately many of our younger
subscribers are probably reading these outlashes and thinking "
Man...some of these bitter old guys ought to get a life!"
