Re: Kodalux: a modest proposal

I've used Kodalux for several years with no problems that I can
detect. I mostly view my slides through a Kodaslide II, but I have
projected them on occassion, and they look ok to me. I waiting for
two rolls from the now, though, and these recent reports are making me
nervous. I don't have the time, patience, know-how or equipment to do
my own mounting.

I have thought of switching to a splitter, since the slides would
always be correctly aligned. However, these seem to make my camera
too big an bulky, and they're unwieldy to use.

My real ambition is to get an RBT that shoots 8 perf slides at normal
space, so I can just have them mounted as regular 2x2 slides. (There
is an RBT like that, isn't there, Jon?) I'm not quite in the RBT
class with discretionary funds yet, though.

So, I support using and/or complaining to Kodalux, since I'd like to
continue using their services for the forseeable future.
