Yes, I offer realist slide scanning services, and I can return images on
CD-R.  I have been returning images pairs in BMP, TIF, and JPEG formats,
at the customer's request.

At NSA'97 I offered to scan for free any slides shown in the stereo
theater in exchange for a release to publish a collection of the images
on CD-ROM.  Those submitting slides would get a discount on the CD.  I
set up my scanner at the trade show so that there would be no mailing
involved. Maybe it was the wrong crowd; not one person offered their
slides for inclusion.
