I read here on the list about using ice cube trays to hold your chips
as you cut them. First chips goes in bin one, second chip is blank
and discarded, third chip goes in bin two, forth chip goes in bin
one, fifth chip goes in bin 3, sixth chip goes in bin 2, etc. So chip
1 and 4 are your first pair, 3 and 6 are your second pair, 5 and 8
are your third, etc. I do the same thing except I just lay them out
on a clean sheet of paper. When you go to mount them the lower film
frame number (doesn't matter what it actually is) is your right chip
and the larger film frame number is your left chip. This is for
cameras that load film on the left side of the camera and roll to the
right. Reverse it if your film loads the other way.
