The first item sounds like the laser-scanned rotating helix system that
Parviz Soltan of NRaD was involved with. I heard him speak on the subject
in 1996.
I don't know about the company (which doesn't necessarily mean much - I
don't know as much about 3D companies as I'd like to. :-)
