Next week I will be in Chicago giving my stereo slide presentation "Stereo
Imaging in Science and Industry".

Tuesday night there is an ASM Chicago Chapter meeting.  The address is:

The program is as follows:

5:30 Drinks
6:30 Dinner
7:45 Stereo Presentation

Trivia:  ASM does not stand for anything!  Used to be American Society for
Metals.  Then an attempt was made to change "Metals" to "Materials" which
did not go well with the hard core ASM Metallurgists so they decided to
call the organization "ASM International - The Materials Information
Society"  My presentation will ve emphasis on Materials and Metallurgy
applications.

On Wednesday I am invited to give the talk to IIT (Illinois Institute of
Technology) as a guest of the Mechanical, Materials and Aerospace
Engineering Department.

I hope to see some of the local stereo local fans in one of the two
presentations.  I understand that the Chicago Stereo Camera Club that meets
the second Tuesday of the month, does not have a meeting next week because
there is an Awards Banquet during the weekend.  So there is no excuse not
to attend my presentation!
