I don't usually spend much time in antique stores, but all the stereoscopes
I've ever seen there are (generically) Holmes format, and I think both of
my parents' families had one.

The movie "The Last Starfighter" (which shows up on television quite
frequently these days) features a "wallet photo" which is able to display
thousands of different images.

Of course, to meet our requirements, they'll have to be 3D. :-)
