I am also wishing for more (I have many 3D movies that I bought from 3DTV and
Shawn Smith but, I want more) 3D movies on video tape but, don't hold your
breath. If you are looking for legal (not copied from laser discs) video
tapes of 3D movies, it could be a long, long time.
I talked to Vrex over the phone about acquiring rights to put classic 3D
movies on video tape and the problem is money. The studios want
$250,000-300,000 for the rights to each movie. You would have to sell an
awful lot of tapes before making a profit.
