VTCA on-line is back up

For those who remember the View-Master & Tru-Vue Collectors Association,
the on-line version is finally back up at:=20
http://www2.bitstream.net/~tlmartin/vtca/
This was a project the I started about a year and a half ago as a means
of putting some of the more asked for collector=92s information on the
web, by updating some of the excellent articles from the VTCA's
newsletter "the ReView". The original editors of the paper-based version
gave their blessing on the project, and I slowly started assembling the
pieces. I know there is still a lot of work to do with the on-line
version, and I will update it as time permits. If you have any
information, articles, or photos to contribute, I will be glad to
include them. My aim is not to compete with some of the other very good
web sites that are already out there, but just to fill in some of the
gaps that seem to exist.
The first article that I activated was the View-Master viewer
identification article. Now, when someone asks you what kind of viewer
they have, you can just direct the newbie to the VTCA web site's Past
Articles section for an illustrated history of VM viewers. I will get
the other articles activated as soon as I get the photos taken and
digitized.
There are several sections to the site, which mimics the format of the
original paper-based ReView newsletter. I thought that I would give them
a try to see if anyone was interested in using them on-line. Of course
these sections will change depending on how much or how little people
use them.
Take a look at the site, and let me know what I can do to improve it.
Thanks, Tom Martin
