I got one of these a few years back. Here are some fun things to try:
Put the anaglyph glasses on backwards (reverse red and blue) or look
at the canyon from the north rim. Voila, the Grand Ridge. This will
reveal many subtle details, being seen as convex rather than concave.
Also, lay the map on a coffee table. The canyon appears to be gorged
out of the wood. That impresses non-3D folks.
